Parking on West side of M-22 ACROSS from the CenterPointe building. Meet at the entrance to the pedestrian tunnel 15 minutes prior to trip start time.

We’ll explore the coves and waters of Grand Traverse Bay and marvel at the northern Michigan landscapes left behind by ancient glaciers. This is the ultimate Traverse City sunset cruise where you beat the crowds by sailing for 2+ hours north from Traverse City into the blue expanse of the bay.
Add to the magic of the evening and take a dip in the turquoise waters of Lake Michigan (be sure to bring your swimsuit as the water is shallower in West Bay and warms quickly). We’ll get you back to shore in time to enjoy an evening meal in one of the numerous farm-to-plate restaurants in Leelanau County.

Had a great time sailing down and around West Bay. Smooth times and great calm water as we sailed the coast of Leelanau County. West bay is one of the best places to adventure in Michigan when you want to explore but not to get too far away from the convenances or restaurants of Traverse City.

It was nice to enjoy the area at a slower pace, taking in all the details as we travelled. The E-bikes were comfortable to ride and the paved trail had some lovely views. Lake Michigan is even more beautiful when you are on the bay. In a sailboat. Our guide was very knowledgeable as well as interesting and we learned a lot. Looking forward to the next adventure already!

This was the best way to experience Northern Michigan I have ever had. What an amazing adventure….water, wind, sand, biking through some of the most beautiful trails in the US! The captain, Eric is amazing. He has a wealth of knowledge and we certainly felt the experience was once in a lifetime.
